Cartwheel-A-Thon
All Meridian gymnasts will be participating in our annual Cartwheel-A-Thon from January 19th through January 24th. Flyers with more information will be sent home this week.
Meridian Attire Order
We are putting the finishing touches on new Meridian attire that will be available for purchase. More information will be emailed out soon with item details and ordering instructions.
From 1/3/26 through 1/17/26 it will be Teddy Bear and Pajama weeks at the gym. All recreational class students are encouraged to wear pajamas and bring their own teddy bear to class. For safety reasons, please make sure that the pajamas do not have buckles, buttons, zippers, or snaps that could injure the gymnast or damage the equipment. Also, no nightgowns or pajamas with feet or hoods. We will have some extra stuffed animals on hand to borrow in case any student does not have one of their own.
Throughout the year, we will be doing various theme weeks with our gymnastics classes. We vary our lesson plans to include songs, stations, activities, and games that go along with each theme. If possible, we will even post decorations and pictures around the gym to enhance the different themes. Sometimes, the themes are interactive and the gymnasts can join in (ie: wearing pjs during pajama weeks, bringing a teddy bear for teddy bear weeks, coming decked out with a bathing suit and sun glasses for beach weeks, etc).
Meridian will be open during the week of school vacation in both February and April. All gymnastics classes and team practices will be held as regularly scheduled.
Meridian will be closed the following dates:
9/1/25 Labor Day
11/26-30/25 Thanksgiving Break
12/24/25 - 1/1/26 Holiday Break
5/23-25/26 Memorial Day Weekend
We are not able to host Birthday parties or hold Open Gyms at this time. We hope to be able to add them back into our schedule in the future.
